Sarah Jo Lambert was born and raised in Texas. Prior to her time in Colorado, Sarah Jo was a Personal Injury attorney in Houston, Texas. She left the humidity for a more mountainous view and worked at the 4th Judicial District Attorney’s Office, where she handled misdemeanor and felony level cases. During her time at the DA’s office, she received awards for trial advocacy and adaptability. Sarah Jo brings an unique perspective from her previous experiences and understands that her clients deserve honesty and compassion, while receiving tenacious advocacy.
Sarah Jo attended the University of Nebraska in Lincoln, Nebraska and was a National Coca-Cola Scholar for her work with environmental sustainability. In addition, she was selected as an Olympic Torchbearer in the 2012 London Olympics, received an award from President Obama, and held a TEDx Youth Talk. She received a Bachelor’s of Journalism in Advertising and Public Relations and then worked at Southwest Airlines Headquarters in Dallas, Texas upon graduation. After her time in Dallas, she returned to her hometown to attend Texas Tech University School of Law in Lubbock, Texas.
Throughout her law school career, she was on a national Moot Court competition team and traveled around the country competing. She placed second in the oldest Moot Court competition in the world in New York and was a regional champion two years in a row. Additionally, Sarah Jo was a Teaching Fellow for the Legal Writing Department, a Mediator in her law school’s Mediation Clinic, the Director of Oral Advocacy for Board of Barristers, and a Law Clerk in the City Attorney’s Office. Sarah Jo graduated with the national Order of the Barristers award.
Outside the office, you can find Sarah Jo gardening, cooking, reading, or snuggling with her dogs. As a Texas native, she apologizes in advance for her strong opinions on Mexican food and her excessive use of the word “y’all.”
