Associate Attorney

Camila Marinho is a licensed Colorado attorney with more than ten years of prior experience practicing family law in Brazil. Over the course of her career, she has represented more than 500 clients in a broad range of family law matters, including divorce, allocation of parental responsibilities, parental relocation, child support, spousal maintenance, high-asset property division, adoption, and domestic violence cases. The legal issues she handled closely parallel those commonly litigated in Colorado family courts, providing her with a strong foundation for her Colorado family law practice.

Camila's academic background includes a bachelor's degree in Sociology and a postgraduate specialization in Family Law in Brazil. Her interdisciplinary education gives her a deeper understanding of the legal, social, and emotional dynamics that often shape family law disputes, allowing her to approach each case with both practical and strategic insight.

After relocating to the United States, Camila earned a Master of Laws (LL.M.) from the University of Colorado Law School. During her LL.M. program, she worked as a law clerk at an immigration law firm in Colorado Springs and served as a judicial intern for Justice William W. Hood III at the Colorado Supreme Court. These experiences provided her with valuable insight into the U.S. legal system, the Colorado courts, and the judicial decision-making process.
