The Business Section of Drexler Law is directed by our Founding Partner, Matthew Drexler, and Business Section Leader, Brian Melton. Matt and Brian bring the full resources of the entire law firm, including the experience and energy of our other attorneys and paraprofessionals. Matt and Brian have a wide body of experience in litigation, transactional work, and alternative dispute resolution across several different practice areas and case types. Matt and Drexler Law have spent the last seventeen years representing individuals and companies in civil litigation disputes, business development, and domestic relations litigation (e.g., high asset divorces, estate planning, and probate litigation). Brian has litigated dozens of complex domestic cases during his eleven years in practice, and spent the last five years dedicated solely to business law cases and the people who own and operate the businesses involved.
Many of the people involved in Drexler Law’s family law cases are business owners, or transferred or received a business asset as part of their case. Many of the people involved in Brian’s business law cases are concerned with protecting their businesses in the wake of death or divorce. Some of those people hired Brian after their business assets were not properly transferred as part of a family law case. These circumstances indicated to Matt and Brian that their respective clients could benefit from a firm that carefully considers the impact that a domestic relations case can have on a business or business owner, and vice versa.
Beyond that, we want to give people and businesses an opportunity to purchase legal services with transparent pricing and varying levels of cost and service commitment.
